ROLE OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Under the guidance of the Finance Committee the Finance Department revises financial policy, presents budgets to the Council of Chiefs, provides financial advice and liaises with the auditor and the funders.  Under the authority of the Council of Chiefs and the Tribal Director, the Finance Department implements the SNTC Financial Management Policy

To meet these criteria the Finance Department prepares budgets, monitors departmental expenditures, prepares monthly financial reports for staff and funding bodies, oversees contracts, prepares payments, reconciles revenues and conducts the day to day financial business of SNTC.
