Secwepemc Youth Ambassador Program

SNTC is pleased to announce the development of the Secwepemc Youth Ambassador Program. The program aims to develop the political engagement of Secwepemc youth. Successful applicants will be paired with a mentor who is either a Provincial or Federal politician elected to represent this area. The Youth Ambassadors will travel to either Victoria or Ottawa to tour legislature or parliament while they are sitting in March 2015.

Dates have yet to be finalized.Each team will create a video of the trip and will report their experience to SNTC.  Ambassadors will witness firsthand the workings of government and will conduct interviews of the mentors. You will become involved in other youth political advocacy and will encourage engagement of youth in your own community.

Completion of the program will qualify students to receive a $500 bursary for post-secondary education.
